This morning a link to an ebay auction of Saraopoly (a monopoly version based on Sarah Records) was sent my way — and since then my brain is spinning with ideas for an IndieRockopoly based on our favorite indie rockers and locales.
Instead of Marvin Gardens and it's yellow brethren, would we have The 40 Watt, Little Kings and The Grit based on Athens, GA mainstays? Would the Crocodile be Pennsylvania Avenue? Would we have lil Colin Meloy, Conor Oberst and Kim Deal figurines? Would the railroads be record stores?
What kinds of Chance and Community Chest cards would there be?Â
