Mark your calendars, friends in Tacoma {and friends in Seattle who are up for a ride!} because the Fall Free For All is coming your way this weekend, and you're not going to want to miss it.
First off? Yep, it's actually free. Free-free, no-strings-attached free, ain't-gonna-cost-you-a-thing FREE. Second, the weekend includes performances from bands like Pearly Gate Music, Drew Grow and the Pastor's Wives, Kelli Schaefer, Laura Gibson, the Local Strangers -- along with plays, movie screenings, and tons of theater exhibitions and family-friendly events. And third? You hardly have to lift a finger to sign up to go: just head on over here to sign up for your free wristband.

Summer wouldn't be summer without a sweet lineup at the Mural at Seattle Center during the month of August, and this year is no exception: our friends over at KEXP have put together another killer series of shows for 2011. As usual, it's all ages to rock, 21+ to hit the beer garden, and f-r-e-e FREE. (Although donations are gladly accepted at the KEXP tent, we're sure!) "Doors" are at 5, bands start at 6, and each Friday is hosted by a different DJ. It just doesn't get much better than that. Check out these bands and hosts!

{John Vanderslice at the Tractor, Noise for the Needy 2010}
It's that time of year again, where the fine folks over at Noise for the Needy get together a slew of stellar shows to benefit a local non-profit. This year the funds are being raised for Real Change, and suffice it to say, there's bands out there to suit every taste -- the Fucking Eagles, Mal de Mer, the Builders and the Butchers, Drew Grow, Goldfinch, Fresh Espresso -- scroll down for more! The list quite literally goes on and on.
Rather than wax poetic about the details, we'll just give you the quick & dirty lineup with links to venues and tickets so you can go and get your charity on. And away we go!

Fresh off of a mini-tour documented by photographer extraordinaire James Bailey, Ravenna Woods is about to bring the buzz that everyone's been talking about them squarely where it belongs: on a hometown stage, this Thursday night at Neumos. With squarely solid support from the lovely sounds of Drew Grow and the Pastors' Wives and an opening set by Big Sur, we're quite sure this is going to be a show to be reckoned with -- and thusly, we've got a pair of tickets to give away for you and a friend to attend.
Just send an email to tig {at} threeimaginarygirls {dot} com with the subject line "SendMeToNeumos!" by 3p on Wednesday, April 6th. We'll pick a lucky winner before the end of the day and notify you by email that your plans for Thursday night are s-o-l-i-d. Don't forget, this is a 21+ show!
