How to name a band
Submitted by Tim Hanken on April 18, 2008.My discovery of the day: If you’re in a band that needs a name, the Wikipedia random article feature can be of great assistance. Here are some suggestions for today:
- Gough-Calthorpe Family (decendents of English nobility)
- Castelfondo (a commune in Itally)
- Kondapuram (small town in India)
- Boulton's Batis (species of bird)
- Calculation (you know, like math)
- Waheela (a wolf-like cryptid)
Waheela could be the best death metal band EVER! Feel free to adopt any of these names for your band. All I request is one free band t-shirt.

The Harlem Shakes is already taken. I've seen them play at Neumos.

I want to review Wikipedia Random Article Feature's first album.

Randy @ 3: No way really? That's neat, I wonder if they came up with it the same way I did...

You had better act fast, though. There aren't many names left.

Funny cause I thought "Wikipedia Random Article Feature" would be the best band name...
