One of my all-time favorite Northwest band ever, the Elephants, are playing tomorrow (Saturday) at the Comet, with Over the Atlantic, the Quit, and PWRFL Power. You should like, totally go!

It's been a long while since the Elephants' debut record released {review}in December 2005, and I for one have been eager to hear more. Well, my day got filled with a few magic sunbeams when Trevor Elephant emailed with some good news -- the band will release a 7" single this June or July with a couple brand new songs, and a full-length later this summer.

According to Trevor, they band has been, "working like Santa's elves trying to get it all done."

Perhaps we'll get a taste of those new tunes at tomorrow's show....? Fingers crossed.
