Tonight in Seattle:

Who are you most excited to see at Capitol Hill Block Party?

It's only a few more days till this year's Capitol Hill Block Party! We're going to have a huge team of imaginary writers and photographers there covering the event, and we're all trying to figure out how to see all the bands we want to see.

I know I've gotta see Little Party and the Bad Business and Kay Kay & His Weathered Underground, and Natalie Portman's Shaved Head are gonna be crazy loads of fun headlining the Vera stage.

But what about you? Which bands are you most excited to see at Capitol Hill Block Party?

I'm pumped (did i really just say "pumped"?) to see all the new Blood Brothers offspring. Should be interesting to see what elements of the Blood Bros went where.

And of course, excited for Fleet Foxes, who I haven't seen until now.

Common Market!

Head Like A Kite!

The Heavy Hearts!

Kimya Dawson!

Kaylee Cole!

See Me River! (ex-Das Llamas)

The Hold Steady!

Throw Me The Statue!

If I were going it would be The Dodos (I think I was one of the first Seattleites on their bandwagon and I still haven't seen them live), Menomena, Les Savy Fav, Girl Talk.

I will flip Levi for the honor of being first Seattleite on the Dodos bandwagon! I can only go on Friday so besides the Dodos I want to see NPSH full set since I have only ever seen them at the Easy Street In Store.

Speaking of Easy Street, there is an Enter To Win box at the Queen Anne location for a pair of tickets to the Block Party, so if you don't have yours yet...

I want to see a rematch of Kele Okereke and John Lydon.

Oh wait. Block Party. Not Bloc Party. Gotcha. Anyway, Girl Talk, Vampire Weekend, Mika Miko and Grand Ole Party. Oh and Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground.

I second Levi's Les Savy Fav (they're f-ing awesome live) and Girl Talk (also f-ing awesome live). Kimya Dawson, Head Like A Kite, Dodos... I don't know. It's a bit overwhelming and I'm scared to feel underwhelmed when I see them all live.

Oh man, it's all about girl talk, Kay Kay, Past Lives, Les Savy Fav, Say Hi, Akimbo, Schoolyard Heroes, Jaguar Love, and Black Eyes and Neckties.
and piggybacking off the free tickets post earlier, I'm trying to win my way into Bumbershoot too. There's this contest where I can win airfare and tickets in, plus get to interview bands! omg!

Speaking of the Block Party, I can't go Saturday yet I have a ticket for Saturday that I need to get rid of. Anybody needs a ticket I'll sell it for what I paid for it- $18.

I like the lineup for Friday better anyways though. Should be a great event!

I LOVE DeVotchKa! Can't wait to see them.

DeVotchKa rocked Bumbershoot...so since I've already seen 'em, I wouldn't mind knowing the super secret special guest...HINT HINT HINT

Man Plus! They just get better and better with every live show I've seen.
