Is it really tomorrow night? All this time practicing all my moves and memorizing the stupid rules and Exile in {Imaginary} Girlville is finally, almost definitely here!?! Just one more night? (OK, I'll try to calm down with the !s.)

Also pretty damn exciting though is that Liz Phair's masterpiece Exile in Guyville is now, again, back in record stores for its 15th anniversary and out on ATO Records. It will be available on vinyl, CD, and digitally (for the first time). The new reissue also includes four new songs: "Ant in Alaska" (download it from Stereogum), "Wild Thing," "Say You," and an unnamed instrumental. Now you can buy it again to study for the "Name that Lyric" contest between songs at Exile in {Imaginary} Girlville or maybe you've always wanted to own a copy on vinyl. Really, though, there's no bad reason for buying such a special record.

Also included is a DVD of a documentary about the album called "Guyville Redux," where Phair interviews some of the original "Guyville guys" about the record and its legacy. Here's the trailer:
