Tonight in Seattle:

New imaginary podcast ready for your listening pleasure

Good news for people who like good new music: we have a new podcast, ready for you to download and enjoy. Woo hoo!

Liz and I vowed that once the election happened, our gift to all of you would be a new podcast a week, every week, from Election Day till the end of the year. So today marks podcast 2/9 of the series. So far, so good.

This podcast features tracks from some local bands, some not-so-local-but-still-poptacular bands you should know about. Go to iTunes and have a listen, won't you?

Here's the setlist:

  • lacktherof "Choir Practice"
  • The Old Haunts "Volatile"
  • Police Teeth "New Wave Song For the Huddled Masses"
  • Autolite Strike "Problems"
  • The Little Ones "Everybody's Up To Something"
  • Michael Zapruder "Ad's For Feelings"
  • Ivan & Alyosha "Beautiful Lie"
  • William F. Gibbs "Come Back To Me (For My Love)"
  • Brotherhood of Broken Hearts "Mine or Others"
  • Roger Goodman "Where's the Bear Come From"
  • Quiet By Ten "Simplicity"
  • Supersuckers "What It Takes"
  • Silverhawk "Drinking Makes Me Feel Better"
  • Brent Amaker And The Rodeo "Tell A Friend The Truth"

You can also download the (huge) MP3 file or listen straight from the website, right here.
