Did anyone pitch a 33 1/3?

We had discussed this a few times around here but I'm curious if anyone followed through. The last moments of 2008 marked the deadline for pitches to write a book in the acclaimed 33 1/3 series.

It was a fairly poor-kept secret that I submitted a proposal and it was on the brilliant 2004 album Anniemal by the Norwegian pop star Annie. It is my very favorite bubblegum pop record and an incredibly important record to me personally.

What about you guys? Did anyone else out there in TIG-landia submit proposals? Which albums did you choose?

Really? Dear You? The big-budget, post-surgery album? Enh. Now, if you said 24 Hour Revenge Therapy, I could understand. Or Unfun, since it collects the 7"s. Even Bivouac has its moments.

I pitched an idea for the "Eragon" soundtrack, but with the clause that it only be a 'Books on Tape' release. No word back. Oh, that was supposed to be "ditched" in the first sentence. I'll just get all audio on my blog for a minute or so about Avril Levigne, then try to talk about the movie, and then I'll call up my 10 yr old nephew and ask him about the book.
