Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

I don't care what the weather is like this week. Sunny or cloudy, cold or muggy, this Friday night 5/30 I am going to King Cobra to help welcome Cancer Rising back to town after kicking so much ass at Sasquatch (or so I heard). Knowing for sure that "shit gets kind of funny when there's money involved," I will be tapped this close to The First, but that's when you have to hear music like this: Honest, humble, occasionally heart-breaking rap music with a sharp mind and a firm hug. Oh yeah, I'm there.

Also up for the show are The Physics, Emeralds, and Portland's own Caves, just added onto the bill with their friendly bit of that newfangled mechanical sounding funk-art-pop with sick-minded vocals.

What a weird line-up, but you can't want for variety…
