Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

People Talking and Singing 2007 will take place on November 8th at Town Hall Seattle.

This year's event will feature author Dave Eggers, comedians Todd Barry and Eugene Mirman, New Yorker music critic Sasha Frere-Jones, and musicians John Roderick of The Long Winters and Rosie Thomas.

In previous years, the events have featured Lemony Snicket, Sarah Vowell and a ton of hilarity. One of the most imaginary moments came last year when Ben Gibbard and Colin Meloy covered Blur's "End of the Century" — BRILLIANT! (see YouTube video below)

In addition to good times, People Talking and Singing has become one the most important – and critical – fundraising events 826 Seattle hosts each year. All proceeds directly support the writing lives of thousands of young people in Seattle.

Tickets will be available starting 8/31 via www.826seattle.org and www.brownpapertickets.com, with prices ranging from $35-$100. Doors open at 6:30pm, with the event beginning at 7:30pm.
