Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

I awoke extra early this morning, unsure why I was alert and out of bed. But now I know it was all with a purpose, as John in the Morning has played not one, not two, but THREE of my all-time favorite romantic pop songs (in order of appearance) this morning:

"When My Boy Walks Down the Street" by the Magnetic Fields

"Supernova" by Liz Phair

"The Perfect Girl" by the Cure

And it's only 7:25a! The sun is barely up, and already, I'm beaming. Add to this fact that igLiz has returned to the 206 as of late last night from her Thanksgiving holiday away, and I am one happy camper today.

How about all of you? What three songs could KEXP play that would make YOUR days a bit brighter?
