Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Well, apparently The Blakes EP comes out to the rest of the world today, although it's been out here for a couple of weeks. Hometown luck I guess!

Exploding Hearts are one of my all-time favorites, and since sadly, there will never be a record of new material, I will rejoice in the little things like the LP release of "Shattered"!

My friend Tim (whose musical taste I trust and respect) saw Jimmy Eat World at the Showbox @ The Market last Thursday and claims that the new material is good and that they are more than just a nostalgia band. I still think I will like the new Underworld record better!

Here are the new releases for this week…

ANGIE STONE, The Art Of Love And War
CAKE SALE, self-titled (Oxfam benefit album featuring Josh Ritter, Glen Hansard (Frames), Gary Lightbody (Snowpatrol), Nina Persson (Cardigans), Lisa Hannigan, Gemma Hayes, Divine Comedy, Thrills, Bell X1, etc.)
