This weekend: Essential Art House

There's only one week left in the amazing Essential Art House: 50 Years of Janus Films mini-fest at the lovely SIFF Cinema. If you haven't been, this is a perfect weekend to check out the new digs -- and the next few days' program options are among my favorites of the series:
- Roman Polanski's Knife in the Water (1962), Fri-Sun
- Alfred Hitchcock's The Lady Vanishes (1938), Sat-Sun
- Nicolas Roeg's Walkabout (1971), Fri-Sun
The back-to-back 3p-5p-7p Sunday schedule is my lineup of choice -- and a good warmup for all-day SIFF 2007 press screenings, which begin in just a few weeks!

Yep! May 24 - June 17. Schedule will be announced May 10.
