Blitzen Trapper signs to Sub Pop
Submitted by imaginary dana on July 12, 2007.Weird. Just a couple days ago, I commented to Liz that I've seen Portland band Blitzen Trapper all over the indie-rock blogging world. Seems like nearly every blog, from Pitchfork to My Old Kentucky Blog to Brooklyn Vegan gave the band a shoutout.
I think the shouting is only going to get louder...
The band just signed to Sub Pop! It's two Northwest tastes that taste great together!!
Congrats to both the band and label, and hat tips to Seattle Weekly's Reverb for the happy news.
