I'm in the throes of finalizing our Team Imaginary Bumbershoot schedules today and am wondering.... what bands should we make sure we don't miss?
Which are your favorite bands to catch this Bumbershoot? I have a few ideas in mind, but would love some input from my favorite imaginary peeps.

I do love me some Menomena.
But if I go, it'll be more for the non-music events this year. Like Mike McGonigal's YETI showcase, and the words and films and visual art of Miss Miranda July.

there are some bands i don't get to see enough (magnolia electric co, apples in stereo) and some great northwest acts (menomena, grand archives), but my weekend is really all about seaweed.

heard Seaweed on kexp not too long ago, and they're gonna finish up the first evening for me right after I see... Army of Me!! Yo, this just in: Army of Me has officially replaced The Providence at the Exhibition Hall. You probably don't know them, but they're so ADORABLE.

My must see was The Lashes ... and it was so worth it. Incredible set, so much fun, and seeing Eric play again gave me goosebumps.
