Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

{Two Gallants}

Ah, yes: Two Gallants are once again one!

After spending the past two years musically adrift, this grand duo has reconciled and will tour throughout the Summer. (Yes, we capitalized that. Summer. Summer, Summer, Summer!) They’ll be taking the stage at Neumos on Monday, June 27th with the Mumlers and Broken Nobles — and we want to send you to the show! Keep scrolling for details…

For those of you already attending, be very excited: you can be sure to count on the classics, along with some reworked tunes, and maybe even a cover or two. Hell, you can even count on Neumos to overdo the smoke machine and make them look like The Mars Volta! Plus, it’s one of those rare all-ages shows at Neumos (actually, only the balcony is all ages), so there will be positive vibes all around from the super-stoked crowd. And as if that’s not reason enough, Two Gallants is a Saddle Creek band — which means that Conor Oberst is sending them over here on his own dime. Consider it payback for Oberst trading in his acoustic guitar for a synth.

Here’s the promo details: send an email to tig {at} threeimaginarygirls {dot} com with the subject line “OhMyGoodnessTwoGallants!” and tell us why you and your friend should be our lucky winners of two tickets to the show! If you don’t want to leave it to chance — which we totally understand — you can pick up some tickets and have a ball with Two Gallants. Get your entries in by 5p this Friday (that’s June 24th — already!) and we’ll notify a lucky winner over the weekend.

We guarantee a good time for all!
