Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Schoolyard Heroes, my favorite horror-pop rockers from here in Seattle, are releasing a 2-song holiday single today. The single is called "I Want Your Soul for Christmas" and the b-side, not to leave out our Jewish friends, is called "Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel!" The press release says:

Seattle's Schoolyard Heroes are set to release a 2-song holiday single: "I Want Your Soul For Christmas" b/w "Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel, Dreidel!" on November 25, 2008. The single features the first new music to be released by Schoolyard Heroes since 2007's "Abominations" album (Stolen Transmission). The single will be released by The Control Group both on iTunes (and all other digital sites) and a limited-edition 7" vinyl pressing.

Schoolyard Heroes' next local show is at the appropriately-named "Home for the Horrordays" at El Corazon on Sunday, December 28.

I couldn't find a video to embed so here's the video to their single "Dude, Where's My Skin?":
