Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

As a winter baby, I feel like I have finally gotten that supa summertime half birthday present I've always wanted… two Conor Oberst (and the Mystic Valley Band) performances in ONE DAY!

And today is the day!!!

6 pm at Easy Street Records – Queen Anne
FREE, all ages

8 pm at Neumo's
all ages with DRI opening up

Even better, rumor has it that Laura will be taking photos at Easy Street and we've got Chona covering the Neumo's show. So, we can all meet up here in the next couple days and relive the magical (valley) performance by gazing at the amazing photos (no pressure though Chona and Laura) and recapping his wittily uncomfortable banter or our opinions of the new songs live vs recorded.

Wonder what it might be like to wonder the record store aisles with Conor? Would he head for the used 7" records? The local bin? Or surprise us all and go towards electronica vinyl or sound effects compilations?

I've saved this YouTube nugget for just a speculative conversation:
