Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

The rumor is true! If you can make it to Greenwood's most fabulous watering hole tonight (12/21), you will be treated by tasty foodstuffs, luscious libations and an amazing set of music by Scott Kannberg (a.k.a. "Spiral Stairs" guitarist of Pavement, Preston School of Industry).

And that's not all…

Scott flew up his dear friend Chris Heinrich from San Francisco (they played together in Scott's post-Pavement project Preston School of Industry) to join him tonight on pedal steel and guitar. Travel conditions permitting, he may also be joined by Posies drummer Darius Minwalla and Oranger/Posie's bassist Matt Harris. These guys were supposed to play the Cops' Rock 'n Roll Circus on Saturday night (regrettably cancelled because of the storm).

Feeling a cold in the wallet? No worries, it's FREE! And there's been rumblings from Scott that he'll pack up his merch bag with some rare Pavement items to sell. Get there early for dinner and some hot toddies. The fellas will start music-stuffs around 9:30p.

Earlier today I wrapped my feet in plastic bags to shovel a pathway from the front door to the sidewalk. Yep, I own four pairs of black mary jane shoes yet nothing that's close to waterproof.

That said, I recommend getting out some bags and rubber bands and head to towards Gainsbourg for a sweet snow day activity to remember.
