2008 was an interesting musical, and personal, year for me. I listened to a lot of indie rock, electronica and went to a shit-ton of shows (one of which was the best I've ever seen, thanks Of Montreal).

If you're in need of some respite from the blustery wet weather, might I suggest dropping by the Triple Door tonight?
The blistering, sometimes frenetic guitar stylings and pounding drums of Marnie Stern are going to sound so awesome through the Triple Door's sound system.

When she's onstage she moves her fingertips up and down the neck of her guitar and gets sounds from it that appear possessed at times.
