Wonderful World: This one played at SIFF last year, and I totally missed it. Matthew Broderick plays pessimist Ben Singer; divorced, jobless, and completely hopeless. When his roommate gets sick, hot sister Khadi arrives and shakes up Ben’s world. Sounds pretty formulaic, I know, but I’m interested.

Brief Interviews with Hideous Men: Since I love everything about John Karsinski, you can bet I’ll be shooting his directorial debut to the top of my Netflix queue ASAP. Grad student Sarah decides to interview men confession-style for her dissertation, with the results being both sad and hilarious (based on short stories by David Foster Wallace).

Twilight in Forks: As much as I want to gaze upon Taylor Lautner’s immaculate New Moon abs, a documentary like this is 100x more interesting to me. Director Jason Brown took a camera crew to Forks, WA and interviewed the residents about their “mystical” heritage and got the inside scoop on how the phenomenon of Twilight has affected their lives. AWESOME!
