In case you haven't been there yet, the Pony is at 506 East Pine St in Capitol Hill where the Cha Cha used to be.

Hooray for PULP KARAOKE!!!!

Singing "Common People" is certainly a must do on your list. Tomorrow night is your chance to do it in front of an appreciative audience of your peers (which is a must, coming from someone who made the mistake of giving it a try at the Sunset Bowl. The look of confusion on everyone's face is still burned in my brain).

And want to see what happens when the tables are turned? Here's Mr. Pulp, Jarvis Cocker, covering "Temptation" with Ms. Gossip, Beth Ditto. As Dana has pointed out before, it is massively wonderful, but it has a bit of karaoke-ishness to it, doesn't it? Jarvis is obviously a master at following the yellow sing-along dot on the screen.
