Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Tonight's recommended show in Seattle is a no-brainer: the Johnny Marr-augmented Modest Mouse, riding the success of their recently top-of-the-Billboard-charts latest release We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. The addition of opening band Grand Archives — the new project of Mat Brooke (formerly of Carissa's Wierd and Band of Horses), who were just signed to Sub Pop Records this week — only makes this show even more enticing.

Of course, you can't get tickets now. They Were Sold Out Before the Ticketmaster Link Even Posted. So if you haven't already gotten tickets, you can't go. Sorry about that.

At least it's a beautiful day here in Seattle. Stay away from the shows and enjoy the sunshine!
