Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

You Me And The Devil Makes Three. Yep, that's a track from Marilyn Manson's Eat Me, Drink Me. "Mutilation is The Most Sincere Form Of Flattery" is as well. Enough said.

Pissed Jeans! A bummer in real life, but a great, great band.

Anchored In Love: A Tribute to June Carter Cash is a really amazing record produced by son John Carter Cash with Tracks from Roseanne Cash and Carlene Carter (I thought her previous slaughter of Ring of Fire was bad, but now you gotta screw up Jackson?!?!?!?) Someone should stick to her own material. Loretta Lynn steals the prize with her recording of Wildwood Flower, GORG. Billy Joe Shaver ("Kneeling Drunkards Plee") and Emmy Lou Harris ("Song To John") have nice tracks. I'm still scratching my head about SHERYL F"IN CROW dueting with Willie Nelson on "If I Were a Carpenter." SICK. The rest of the record is sweet though and definitly worth a listen. I've played Wildwood Flower no less than three times today. My co-workers seems unaffected.

Thank you, France, for returning Imaginary Dana to us unharmed.
