This post comes on the heels of Char's overrated bands entry.

The Guardian in London asked several rock stars which albums they think are the most overrated. Alex Kapranos of Franz Ferdinand thinks it is Marquee Moon, a guy from the Kooks says Pet Sounds.Some of the responses are pretty funny. Wayne Coyne on Nevermind is priceless. He says:

If you think you're going to hear an utterly original, powerful and freaky record when you put on Nevermind, as a young kid might, Christ you're going to be disappointed. You're going to think, "Who is this band that sounds just like Nickelback?"
