I found out about this last night, and by accident, but I can't not mention it here.
Filmmaker David Rowe made a documentary about the monthly Fast Friday events in Seattle – a gathering of fixed-gear bicycle riders. Last night was the release party at Sole Repair for the DVD release of the film AND a companion book of photography documenting Fast Fridays.
Although I'm ambivalent towards the legality of fixies, the book I whole-heartedly endorse because it was gorgeously photographed and compiled by TIG's incredibly talented Kyle Johnson.
