Day two held quite a few more acts and a lot more running around to catch them all for our pal Morgen. While I pride myself on keeping up to date with local acts, I admit that the Everett music scene (and to be honest, the PNW music scene) has gotten away from me a little. So this festival was my first opportunity in a while to catch some great new (or new to me) acts that will lead Seattle music into the future like Bad Optics and Blood Lemon (who are actually from Idaho). I was also really happy to see some familiar faces both on the stage (like True Loves and Spirit Award) and in the crowds like DJ Eva from KEXP MCing the main stage. Could this be the start of some version of normalcy coming back into our lives? I can only hope.
