When I read the headline about a musical made from the music of Morrissey and the Smiths on NME this morning I was excited. "Oh boy, won't that be fun!" I thought. Much more fun than the musical I saw posters for all over Europe: We Will Rock You, a musical based on the songs of Queen. Not that there is anything wrong with Queen, but being who I am, with my mancrush on Moz and all, the Smith-related musical is too good to be true.

Then, it got better.

Who, you ask, wants to write this musical?

None other than Thomas Lennon and Ben Garrant – formerly of MTV's The State (currently of Reno! 911, Wet Hot American Summer, etc.) Now, I don't even know what to say other than "gasp!"
