The BBC reports that a recent poll by SFX magazine named Joss Whedon's Serenity the best Sci-Fi flick of all time, outpacing Star Wars, Planet of the Apes, and Back to the Future, among others. I give this a great big "huh?" not because I like Star Wars ("eh.") but because I didn't think so many people loved Firefly (for you uninitiated, the shortlived TV show that spawned Serenity).

Well, good for Joss (see also BtVS, Angel, Alien Resurrection). Now, if only he'll actually make that Angel movie I want him to make…
