The Flaming Lips never surprise me, but always amaze me. That kooky shaggy-haired cutie Wayne Coyne has a bag of goodies for us… the long awaited "Christmas on Mars" is finally here!

In other news, the Lips led their March of 1,000 Flaming Skeletons through the streets of Oklahoma City over the weekend, and, naturally, it was amazing. The band also interpreted NBC's tri-chime theme for a forthcoming series of promos. And they're apparently playing a hometown show on New Year's Eve, if that silly bearded fellow up there is to be believed.
