Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Holy chicken in a biscuit, are we ever excited for this show!!

As we gushed on last week, we've had the new release from We Were Promised Jetpacks {In The Pit Of The Stomach} pretty much on repeat here at the imaginary office, pausing only to supplement the ear-bashing with 2009's These Four Walls. Whether you're strung out on that release, this year's release, or both, one thing's for certain: next Tuesday's show at Neumos is going to be one of the best of the year. With 2011 winding down, there's plenty of contenders that are starting to make the whittled-down short list of what got our panties in a bunch these past twelve-ish months — and WWPJ is no exception: this is some flat-out, balls-to-the-wall legitimate indie rock, the likes of which we haven't heard from a new band in some years now. And we Can Not Wait to hear the new stuff live.

Want to join us at next week's show? Just drop us a line, because we've got a pair of tickets to give away! Send an email to tig {at} threeimaginarygirls {dot} com with the subject line TornThroughThePages sometime between now and noon on Friday, November 11th (yup! that's this Friday) for a chance to win. We'll notify you via email that you and your +1 will be on the guest list for Tuesday night.

We'll see you down in front!
