Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

What can I say? I’m a sucker for love stories. Part rom-com, part documentary and Sundance Film Festival Grand Jury prize-winner Dina explores what happens when two people with complicated baggage try to make it work—in their case, Scott’s Asperger syndrome and Dina’s autism. But like any couple, they’re determined to work through their problems and navigate the battles of all relationships: cohabitation, intimacy, family drama, and the whole slate of stuff that even for us people without any extra complications make us pause and seriously consider whether we would all be better off as solo cave creatures. I’m not gonna miss it, and neither should you!
