Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

You've got to hand it to the people at Neumo's/Moe Bar for removing the guilt that comes with my alcoholism. From an e-mail they sent out Monday afternoon:

This Tuesday, anyone who brings two non-perishable food items to Moe Bar will get happy hour drink prices all night long. Help those in need and we'll thank you with low-priced drinks — $2 Beers, $2 Wells and $2 off the drink menu.

They are also unveiling a new drink menu to coincide with the food drive:

Tomorrow also marks the debut of our yummy new drink menu! We've been locked in our basement trying flavor combinations and are now proud to present Infused Booze at Moe Bar! These savory new creations include the Pomegranate Martini, the Skittles shot, and for those daring people, the Meat & Potatoes Bloody Mary, featuring roast-beef infused vodka!

Our new winter cocktail menu will also make you drool all over our nice interior. Try the Pear Naked Martini, the Absolut Fresca, the Apple Pie, or the Blueberry Muffin for dessert. Come by to get warm and cozy with one of our new offerings. Hope to see you tomorrow night!

Also of note: Chop Suey now has a kitchen called Soy Cowboy that opened earlier this month. It offers, as implied in its title, a blend of Asian and western fares. Most items are between $5-$8, I believe. I tried the Curry Fried Rice on Saturday night when I was there and it was surprisingly good.
