Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

I love quoting lines (and in some rare instances acting out scenes) from MTV's long ago cancelled sketch comedy show The State. Wondered where legions of fans got the lines "I'm Doug and you're Dad" and "I wanna dip my balls in it" and "That's a whole lotta puddin'" – that's all thanks to the hard work of Michael Showalter, Michael Ian Black and
David Wain – the same masterminds behind the comedy troupe Stella.

Stella is going to be at Neumo's (ALL AGES!) this Wednesday 1/21 and we have a pair of tickets to giveaway to one lucky and worthy imaginary reader. To enter to win a pair of tickets, email tig @ three imaginary girls . com (with subject line of STELLAtix) by noon on Tuesday 1/20.

Here's a taste of the hilarious action: A video of Stella's Michael Showalter reading from an NY Times review that bashes "Stella", then he reads the letter he wrote in response.
