Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Where can you see a trumpet, an accordion, a bass, a banjo, a guitar, a sax, and many more instruments play together without being in the south? AWESOME!

I didn’t know anything about this band. As I was walking by I saw a cute guy in the crowd… so of course, that was my motivation to watching the show. And YES! What a show! Every person in this band had a well-tuned unique voice. Even the drummer had a little solo, where he imitated the old Ballard lady who wouldn’t sell her house and now has a huge construction zone by her house. I could rave about their musical knowledge for hours (well maybe not… but definitely a page or two). Finally. a rock band that understands major and minor chords, and uses them to their full potential. Can’t wait till their next show at the Vera. Truly an awesome show.
