Brooklyn-based songwriter Michael Hearst has recently released an album Songs for Ice Cream Trucks which is—as you may have already guessed—songs for ice cream trucks to play while they're driving around.

The album has already been implemented by a startup in ice cream truck company in Southern Pines, North Carolina and a small fleet in Portland, Oregon.

When asked about his whimsical tunes (which incorporate a melodica, organ, theremin, guitar, keyboards and even a children's choir) Hearst stated "I had no hard and fast rules as to how to make an ice cream truck song. They had just better make people want to buy ice cream."

Man, just reading about this makes me want some ice cream.
