Buried: I’m skeptical about this film, since it takes place entirely in a coffin, and Ryan Reynolds is expected to you know, act—but friends who’ve seen it assure me it’s GOOD so I’m willing to give it a shot (I just hope they’re right).

Animal Kingdom: Awards mania over the performances has brought this one to my attention, and the trailer is so compelling I’m ready to run down to the video store and rent it old-school style right now. Plus, I kind of love that they play an Air Supply song over the last part.
