When the new TIG layout was created, a special category was created called “crushes,” which I assume means that I’m supposed to use it to post new Lily Allen videos when they become available.

This video is for the song “22”, one of the catchier, moralizing songs from her fantastic album It’s Not Me, It’s You (the other one is “Everyone’s At It”). One of the things I really love about Allen is that when she delivers a moralistic message, it’s given out empathy not condescension.

Here’s she singing about a scenster who spends her life out at clubs while life is passing her by (“she’s got an alright job, but it’s not a career”) and in this video, Allen plays that character herself. You can watch it below:
