Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Kind of a short list this week, but some real goodies too!

The Cops release Free Electricity today!  It's already #6 on KEXP playlist and I bet that's just the start of it. They are gonna be playing around town a lot to support the new record, including an in-store at QA Easy Street on the 30th as part of the Seattle Weekly's Outsider Music Showcase and the next day (12/1) at The Vera Project.

Tokyo Police Club continue the fine art of releasing EP's with Smith. They swear a full-length is already in the can, but I like the way they are doing it with EPs and singles only thus far.

Speaking of EP's, Sigur Ros' Hvarf/Heim is actually 2 EP's releases together. That's tricky!

Demon Hunter are really super talented local metal geniuses. They love Jesus and they make great records and art as Astrix Studio. Astrix has even been nominated for a grammy for Album Cover Design (although not for their own release).

Daniel Johnston reissues!??!  Heck yeah!
