Well, hopefully not start another stir, but the latest NME singles chart place the Proclaimers (yes, those Proclaimers) new verson of "I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles)" as the #1 single in the UK. I'll be darned. The single was re-released with some special guests as a part of the Proclaimers Best of…. The Proclaimers held off Avril Lavigne from the top spot.

TIG favorites Kings of Leon hit #1 on the album charts, with Maximo Park's new one hitting #2. I'm excited to hear both of those albums, especially Maximo Park.
