Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

As Imaginary Liz posted last week, we are knees-deep in planning our year of celebratory events to commemorate ten years of TIG! Can you believe it?? (We can’t either!) And among all the other fun events we’re planning, it wouldn’t be an imaginary celebration without an installment of our semi-regular imaginary crafternoon, so we’re getting together at Porchlight Coffee and Records on Capitol Hill next month {3/18} to get our craft on, and to celebrate all things imaginary as we chat, knit, glue and gossip. We’ll even have some extra special treats up our sleeve, including a fun group craft project — but of course, you’re welcome to just bring in your to-do pile and mark the occasion with the finishing of that long-awaited adorable thing you’ve been working on.

Speaking of music: since Porchlight has a record player {and an impressive collection of albums for sale, ps!} we also thought it might be fun to bring along an album you’d like to play. We probably won’t get to play everything, since we only set up camp for two hours or so — but you can cast your vote for your favorite side of your favorite vinyl and we’ll play all the albums we have time for while we’re there. Neat!

You + us + crafts + records + treats + coffee = win! So, mark that calendar: Sunday, March 18th at Porchlight Coffee and Records {1515 14th Ave., btw Pine and Pike} from 1p – 3p. See you there!
