Up in the Air: The ever-adorable Clooney seems tailor-made for the role of Ryan Bingham – a charming, smart-ass loner in fear of losing the job he LIVES for. An expertly clever take on a story told many times over, Reitman elevates this to perfection, with the two female leads (Anna Kendrick & Vera Farmiga) rockin’ it to the extreme. I’m definitely adding this one to my collection.

Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire: This is something I consider a must-see for everyone. Gabourey Sidibe’s performance of a girl so beaten down by life that she can’t possibly be expected to make it is of course, tough to watch at times, but still leaves you with an overwhelming feeling of love and hope. This story could be about any girl – and I couldn’t be happier that it’s getting so much attention.

The Brothers Warner: I’m very interested in checking out this documentary about the roots of siblings Albert, Harry, Jack & Sam Warner, founders of Warner Brothers and its Hollywood glory days. Directed by Harry’s granddaughter, Cass, it’s apparently packed with rare photos, classic clips, interviews, and tons of movie history.
