Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Friends know I almost make it to every Transmissionary Six show, as I have a big heart for sexy noir science fiction folk-rock — and this week I have two reasons to see 'em live

Tomorrow night (Wednesday evening, May 7) they'll be playing at the McLeod Residence and Gallery on 2nd Ave downtown, right across the street from the late great Crocodile. These are my old stomping grounds and I plan to come down to the old 'hood to see who owns Singles Going Steady now (where'd ya go, Pete?) and drool over the Bad Brains seven inches and rare punk rock comps. It's an early show at the McLeod Residence, and IT'S FREE! TM6 play at 8 PM — and other folks will be doing acoustic sets as well. Great music for a great cause

Also: On Thursday evening TM6 will be at the Tractor Tavern, opening for Marty Willson-Piper (founding member of the Church). It's an early, seated show, so get there soon that evening to see TM6. It's $15, which might cover some proto-shoegazing six string genius flying in from Oz!
