Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

Friday Mile has long been one of our favorite Northwest bands. Look in the TIG archives and you'll see we've been raving about the fantastic pop rock band at least as far back as 2005.

They also rocked the hell out of Chop Suey on Inauguration Night (a show I booked for my 30th birthday), packing the club on a Tuesday night. We're of course, thrilled that they are playing another (somewhat rare) Seattle show on Friday, May 29 at the High Dive.

Even better? We have a pair of tickets to give away to one of our fine, benevolent readers. To enter, just send an e-mail to tig@threeimaginarygirls.com with "Friday Mile" in the subject line before 9am Wednesday, May 27. The winner will be notified shortly thereafter and will receive a spot on the band's guestlist for the evening +1. This show will almost certainly sell out, so plan accordingly.

Here's some live footage of Friday Mile playing said Inauguration Night show at Chop Suey. This is their song "I Took It All":
