NME is finalizing the line-up of their Freshers Tour 2007 – and Detroit youngsters The Satin Peaches have been confirmed to play the prestigious tour. The four-piece will be rotating as opening act with Operator Please in support of The Go! Team.
Watch the video for their "Well Well Well Well" and let us know if they could be the next NME cover story… and is there another band that deserves to be on the Freshens tour more? (and does the world need another band with the word "peaches" in the title?)
The Satin Peaches are currently recording their debut album, which is being produced by Owen Morris (Oasis, The Verve, The Fratellis, The View) and Dave Sardy (Supergrass, Oasis, Red Hot Chili Peppers) but in he meantime you can check out some tunes at www.thesatinpeaches.com where there is a free demo track available for download. And, of course, there's more info on their MySpace page.
I know most of us aren't anywhere near these stops… but it's still cool to window shop, right? And those of you near these venues… tell us all about it!
