Yesterday I was fortunate enough to catch the “City Life” exhibit at Vain. It’s really interesting because it showcases different artists — some are professional photographers and some aren’t — and all of the photos were taken with polaroid cameras. It includes photos by musician Damien Jurado and TIG contributor Sarah Murphy. It opened last Thursday and continues through the end of June. The rest of the details (from the press release) are:

About the show + participating artists

For our June exhibit in the VAIN Gallery, we asked photographers to submit their instant film takes on the theme of “City Life,” whether the subject be their street, skyline, a night out, or the people around them. The response and presentation is a varied look at urban living through Polaroid lenses. Exhibit on display through June 30.
