Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

You West Coasters get all the fun. That is, until autumn comes around and the CMJ Music Marathon takes place in NYC, assuring me a week of sleep deprivation and rock exhiliration. Below is the preliminary list, which probably only accounts for about 10% of the total number of bands that will be playing.

Not terribly excited with this early offering, but you know I'll be all over the Brunettes; and, if they're not trumped by other bands I want to see more, will also probably try for Spoon, Xiu Xiu, Eisley, Dan Deacon, and Deerhunter (though of course they'll all be playing sets at exactly the same time in venues far far away from one another, because that's just the way it is).

New York, NY – August 9, 2007 – CMJ Music Marathon today unveiled the first list of artists confirmed to perform during the 2007 festival, which will take place Tuesday, October 16 – Saturday, October 20 in New York City.
