Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

I know it's short notice and a Tuesday but if you don't have plans this evening, I highly recommend an excellent power-pop show at the Tractor Tavern tonight.

I've been wanting to catch both the Color Bars and Smile Brigade for quite some time – and they're both playing tonight. You would be ill-advised to miss this show. Both write well-constructed, catchy songs with really great, Beach Boys-influenced harmonies.

Here's a video of Smile Brigade playing their song "At the Tail End of Everything":

And I searched high and low on the Interwebs for a video by the Color Bars but the closest I could come was this video of another local power-popper, Andy Werth, covering the song "Eliza" by the Color Bars:

This show starts at 9pm and the cover is a bargain at only $6.
