This story is brilliant. John McCain's MySpace profile was created with an add-on template, one that's available for free, provided you credit the creator (who just happens to be Newsvine founder Mike Davidson). Team McCain took the template, but also took all the credit, declining to acknowledge Davidson. And even worse: they used images from Davidson's server, creating a resource drain and additional hosting expense (apparently, McCain has a pretty popular MySpace page. Who knew?)

Davidson got him back. He replaced the contact info image with one of his own creating, and happily, TechCrunch captured it (it appears to be pulled down now). Check it out below…
