Three Imaginary Girls

Seattle's Indie-Pop Press – Music Reviews, Film Reviews, and Big Fun

The holiday season hasn't started yet, but I've just added my top item to my "I've been a good imaginary girl" wishlist: a limited-edition Nada Surf vinyl box set featuring all five of the band's studio albums (and loads of other goodies).

Here are the deets, straight from the band's fabulous label, Barsuk:

Now, for the first time ever, all five of Nada Surf's studio albums will be available on vinyl at the same time, collected in a limited-edition box set. Limited to 1,000 numbered copies, the career-spanning box contains all five studio albums on vinyl, an exclusive repressing of the first 7" single, and full-color 24-page lyric and photo book. Also includes download codes for MP3 versions of The Proximity Effect, Let Go, The Weight Is a Gift, Lucky, and a collection of rare and out-of-print bonus tracks and b-sides.

That sounds delish!

Nada Surf are, as ever, touring (do they ever stop touring, seriously?). They have no West coast dates at this time, but you East coast readers should go check 'em out…
